Silicones are a neutral curing silicone adhesive that is designed to inhibit the growth of mould and mildew where there is high humidity and where high-temperature conditions are present. Silicones can seal joints in many surfaces ranging from ceramics, porcelain, plastics and metals in wet areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and toilets, particularly where fungal growth can occur. Silicone reacts with atmospheric moisture in order to produce a formed and in place silicone rubber seal.
